Funds can be deosited into the user's account through the Automatic Deposit Machine (ADM). The user merely swipes their card and inserts a combination of $1.00, $5.00, $10.00 and $20.00 bills. Funds can be transferred from Bank Credit Cards i.e., Visa, Master Card, American Express, etc. through a clearing version of the ADM. The funds are available for immediate use. Unassigned cards can be placed in a special version of the ADM, for use by library users who are not in the system. They can purchase cards with a value and even add value to the card, without disturbing the library staff.
