Debit Card Charges

The debit card can be used to charge for use of Copiers, Laser Printers, Microfiche, and Fines. Eliminating coin usage eliminates making change, break-ins, counting change, depositing change, theft losses and more work you don't need. Laser Printers are using up truckloads of paper and toner. It is important that you use the Laser Printer Accountant^TM to gain control of the waste and charge for the use, so you can recoup some of the expenses. If you are using outside vendors for copiers and/or Laser Printers, the system does the accounting for you.

Access

Heartland's Campus OneCard System^TM provides you with a method of controlling access not only to the library, but to special areas as well. You can designate who can enter a given area and when they can enter. For instance, in a Law School, Law Review members may have access to a room in the library 24/7. Professors, or perhaps select professors could be granted access to certain stacks 24/7. Heartland's Campus OneCard System^TM gives you full control of access.

Integrated System

Heartland's Campus OneCard System^TM is a fully integrated system which means that while you enjoy the benefits of the system, chances are good that another department will actually run the File Server and be responsible for downloading the data base. Our unique system of organizations assures you that other auxiliaries cannot see your records or interfere with your operations. Only employees authorized by you can perform functions within your "Organization's" area of the system, and then only the functions you authorize to each such employee. You can have the best of both worlds, by being a part of the whole system, but still run your separate operation.
